DFA opens new building
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) held a soft opening for the new Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) building last January 11, 2010. It is located at the corner of Bradco and Macapagal Avenues in Aseana Business Park, near the SM Mall of Asia.
State-of-the-art building This multi-million building is a 7,000-square meter, four-storey facility complete with CCTV cameras and fiber-optic lines. It is the new home for DFA’s consular services, which resumed operations as early as March 4, 2010.
Filipino pride On the DFA website , Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo has been quoted saying, “Now, we have a passport and a consular building that is efficient, progressive and serviceable, and will give every Filipino ease, comfort and pride. With everyone's support, the Filipino can be truly world-class.”
