Have a safe summer trip
The sun is out and it’s time for you and your family to have fun! To fully enjoy summertime, remember these tips:
- Plan with health and safety in mind. If your family decides on an out-of-town or out-of-country trip, make sure you visit your doctor several weeks beforehand for a general check up. This is the time to complete your immunization shots and ask for preventive medicines for diseases such as malaria.
- Use a cooler to store your baon for the trip. Spoilage may cause food poisoning. And to be extra safe, bring your own drinking water.
- If a family member is taking prescribed medicines, bring some extra medicines along with the doctor’s prescription. It’s wise to store the medicines in different bags in case a piece of luggage gets lost.
- Vacationing is not an excuse to gain weight. Watch what you eat and find time to exercise.
- Don’t forget your first aid kit.
Go ahead—enjoy your trip!
